“Information is Beautiful Awards”是為了鼓勵和獎勵在圖表設計、數據、信息可視化方向上做出優秀表現的設計師和設計作品，至今已經舉辦了四屆。今年，“Information is Beautiful Awards”除了團體項目類之外，更是延伸到了個人及學生項目，以此來鼓勵更多領域的人參加。在下篇中，將為大家介紹更多優秀的制作軟件。

London Squared Map: Making the City Easier to Read

有太多可視化的信息圖在使用“地圖”作為元素，但他們往往因為過于寫實的地界曲線，讓屏幕上的閱讀變得非常困難。“倫敦方塊”項目就是解決這一難題的絕妙嘗試。
他們把倫敦的行政區按照方位全部簡化為一個個方格，方格中間的迷人曲線則代表了泰晤士河——最標志性的城市元素，把倫敦分割成兩個區域。這張底板設計完成后，一些適配在小屏幕上的數據運用就可以變得更加易讀。
