In active response to the HKSAR Government’s initiative to revive the local economy, our organization is pleased to launch the ‘Hong Kong Quality Brands 港品?新的出發– Embarking a Journey to Success’ unveiled with a launching press conference live-broadcasted on 18 January 2021. Our mission is to set up a social commerce platform which facilitate Hong Kong enterprises and brands to tap into the trend of “new retail” through leveraging new technologies including ‘omnichannel marketing’, ‘5G technology’, ‘big data marketing’ which are major trends in the China market. In brief, the main objectives of ‘Hong Kong Brands 港品?新的出發 – Embarking a Journey to Success’ are:
To promote and boost the ‘new retail’ economic development in the Greater Bay Area, to drive a new revenue model of social commerce, and to introduce quality products from Hong Kong and overseas markets to Mainland consumers facilitated by our trustworthy and reliable social commerce platform-
To stimulate employment in both Hong Kong and the Mainland through professional talent training courses and incubation programmes supported by our organization’s resources, enabling the younger generation to become qualified influencers
To encourage intercultural exchanges in the Greater Bay Area through tailor-made programs conducted between Hong Kong celebrities and corporate brands in a bid to strengthen cooperation and communication
Our new initiative realizing the ‘new retail’ concept has been well received and positively supported by various market leaders including, China Broadcasting and Television Media, the Hong Kong Commercial & Industry Associations, Shenzhen Media Group, Shenzhen Duty Free Group, MBeaute (shop.mbeautegroup.com), Bonjour Holdings Limited (bonjourhk.com), Shenzhen Media Group, Hainan island Airport Duty Free - Dolphine Free, Yngou.com, Guang Hong Kong Commercial & Industry Associations, Hong Kong Cyberport, Hong Kong Institute of Marketing, The Hong Kong Federation of Commerce for Small and Medium Enterprises, Global Economic Cooperative Alliance , X Social Group, Cross-Border China-Post eCommerce Limited, Prince Jewellery & Watch, Memorigin, Chi Fung International Holding, Herbs Generation, Tsui Wah Holding and Institute of Change (IOC). With the concerted efforts made through strong partnership, facilitated by our interactive social commerce platform, businesses will prosper, and the economy will revive soon enough.
A wide array of activities are planned and some have been successfully conducted shortly before the launching press conference. The platform convener, Mr. Lam Hon Yuen Samuel (Founder of MBeaute) , has planned more than a hundred of live-broadcasting programmes within 2021. The kick-off show was an interview with the brand owner and founder of the renowned watch group, Memorigin, Mr. William Shum, who talked about the establishment of his brand and his success story. A award-winning magician, Mr. John Fung, who designed one of the watch series, performed magic tricks during the live show while introducing his own design. With resources generously supported by the China Broadcasting and Television Media, Shenzhen Duty Free Group, MBeaute, and the Shenzhen Media Group, our social commerce platform will not only be one of the key drivers of the ‘new retail’ economy in the Greater Bay Area, but will also succeed in incubating young talents from both China and Hong Kong to become qualified professional influencers in the lucrative and ever-evolving live-streaming industry.
Further, the Deputy Conveners Dr. Brian Chan, highlighted that the Institute of Change (IOC) will launch new interactive award-bearing training courses offering official certificates with an aim to guarantee the quality of influencers and budding influencers. Long-term benefits and far-reaching developments are ahead of parties and representatives from Hong Kong and the Mainland through close-knit and quality cooperation in the Greater Bay Area.
