CA 獎英文名 Communication Arts ，中文名美國傳達藝術獎，是全球視覺設計領域首屈一指的獎項。由《Communication Arts》雜志在 1959 年創辦，涵蓋了設計（Design）、廣告（Advertising）、攝影（Photography）、插畫（illustration）、互動（Interactive）以及版式設計（Typography）六大版塊，每個版塊都分別設置了卓越獎（Award of Excellence）和入圍獎（Short List）兩大獎項等級，其中卓越獎是每個視覺創意人夢寐以求的業界最高榮譽。
CA 獎舉辦的這 60 年來，為視覺創意行業輸送了大量優秀作品。作為一個不以營利為目的的獎項，幾乎不做宣傳的 CA 獎，卻以其極強的專業性為人所知，每年都會吸引來自奧美（Ogilvy）、李奧貝納（Leo Burnett）、陽獅（Publicis）、天聯（BBDO）等諸多全球知名廣告公司的積極參與。
就在前不久，CA 獎下的插畫獎（ca 2020 illustration competition）版塊揭曉了本年度的獲獎名單。
最初，大賽征集了來自于廣告、書籍、刊物、營銷、機構協會、影視動畫、個人，以及還未出版的和學生創作的插畫作品共計 3863 份。
面對海量的征集作品，素來以高質量和專業性著稱的 CA 插畫獎，這次依然請來了教科書級別的專業評審團。今年的 CA 插畫獎評審團由來自全球頂尖設計學院羅德島設計學院的插畫系主任 Robert Brinkerhoff、世界頂尖出版集團企鵝蘭登的高級設計師 Nora Grosse、日本殿堂級插畫師木內達郎（Tatsuro Kiuchi）等 10 位知名設計師組成。
評審團
經過評審團的入圍評選和決賽評審，最終共有 125 組作品脫穎而出，被推選為本屆 CA 插畫獎的 Award of Excellence（卓越獎）作品。這些獲獎作品被收錄至最新一期的《Communication Arts Illustration Annual 61》年鑒中，并在全球范圍內發行。
