First-ever punched bus shelter Ad
Sending gifts to family and friends is a common practice in Chinese New Year. Boxes of confectionery and standardized blessings sentences have become a stereotype of Chinese New Year, and people are getting tired of such distortion of traditional culture. Brand’s would like to bring back the true meaning of gifting, and to bring it into action.
We created the first-ever punched bus shelter. The bus shelter is made of metal sheets three huge Chinese characters are punched on it. “好精神” is a double meaning word in Cantonese. First, it means individuals being energetic and full of strength; second, it means good vibes and positive attitude of the society. Both meanings are essential and the best New Year blessing to Hong Kong under current situation.
A TVC and online video were made to record the punching process, and to raise the concern of sending gifts. Sending healthy gift to is a true blessing to the beloved ones, and Brand’s would be the perfect choice.
Together with the online video, Brand’s has launched a set of publications. A wide range of media platforms, such as outdoor billboard, newspaper / magazine print ad, in-store poster, as well as Fai Chun, a traditional decoration with promotional message, have been covered throughout the campaign. Synergy between all the publications are attained with CNY blessings.
